Just got back home

I tried to update my blog but it continued to be blocked during our trip. Briefly,
I will say that we had a great time even though we suffered some from the high temps and humidity. An unexpected highlight was viewing the solar eclipse while at the 3 Gorges Dam! I will soon post some pictures and give some detail of the trip. Right now, I need to unpack and see what is in the pantry for dinner.

Just a few more days to go! We leave early on Monday, July 6 on United. I have packed and repacked our bags several times, trying different suitcases. In the end, we are going with the smaller ones to keep our weight down.

We take two of the pets to be boarded at the vet tomorrow and the third goes to a different kennel on Sunday. We have an elderly cat and dog who require medication so they will be in good hands with our vet staff.

Where is Nanchang?

In the map below, Nanchang is not identified. Look for Shanghai on the east coast, then work your way left until you find Wuhan. Nanchang would be a little below Wuhan and very slightly east.
